Last Day

Things that I learned about photography is that I didn't know that there was a processes where you developed pictures. I thought that it was just like a disposable camera where we would send it to Walgreen's and have them developed, but I didn't think that we would actually learn the process. There was different chemicals just to have the pictures developed and boy did they smelled, well to me they smelled really crappy. But on another note, I learned that photography had a lot people in history where they were the first ones that made the first type of photo like Niche, and that without them I don't even know where photography would be to this day. What I learned about myself in this class was that I didn't think I was capable of doing these things because when they first explained all these different projects, I was like "Woah..." but when we started taking pictures and editing them, I was proud of myself that I could actually do these things. Not only that, but when I was taking pictures I felt that I was telling different stories. Having them guess what they were doing and why they were doing the pose or why their faces were like that made me feel great because they'd have to make a story that came with it. Some things that I conquered was mostly in photoshop. I felt like there was a lot of steps to remember just to edit it one way, but when I put my head in to it, I made sure that I got through with it. But there was some struggles that I didn't overcome, like taking the photos. I didn't really have time to take the photos because I was busy taking care of my sister when my mom went to work. I wouldn't have the pictures in on time, but I would always take them. You know, it's better late than never, so I would always take them even though it was late. Some things that I wished we did was work more with the disposable cameras. I thought it was fun working more with them than the digital camera. I thought the process of developing the pictures were long, but it was worth it cause we get to learn new things. All in all, this class was really fun and entertaining because of the people in the class. I was always looking forward towards this class in the mornings. I really enjoyed this class, and I would take photo 2, but when I first learn more about photoshop then I'm good.
